Gareth "Gary" E. Belleau

Gareth “Gary” E. Belleau, 76, of Green Bay passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Bellin Memorial Hospital.

Gary was born on October 16, 1946 in Green Bay to Paul and Carol (Lannoye) Belleau. He was a graduate of Premontre High School. Gary drove school bus for Lamers until his retirement. Gary spent the past 34 years making memories with his best friend, Katherine. Over the years, Gary enjoyed going to rummage sales, estate sales, going up north, going for rides, berry picking and going out to lunch.

Gary is survived by his significant other of 34 years: Katherine Kussow; brothers and sisters: David (Lynda) Belleau, Jane Phillips, Michael (Beth) Trudell, Cindy (John) Rather, and Susan (special friend Grady) Belleau; two godchildren: Melanie Popp, and Tyler Henry; Katherine’s family: Todd (Amy) Reed, Tracy (Wade) Thompson, and Kristina Kussow. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gary was preceded by his parents: Paul and Carol Belleau; sister: Bonnie (Richard) Young; brother-in-law: Ron Phillips; and special nephew: Steve Young.

A life celebration to honor Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., with Rev. Josh Fite officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Burial of cremains will take place at Fort Howard Cemetery.
