Gary James Meetz

Gary J. Meetz, age 74, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.  He was born August 26, 1949, to Harvey and Joyce (Brueckner) Meetz in Green Bay. 

Survivors include his mother: Joyce Meetz; one brother: Jeff (Lamella) Meetz; nieces and nephews: Shawn Meetz, Cory (Val) Meetz, Robert (Tara) Peterson; Kayla Peterson, and Cameron January (Morgan); brother-in-law: Bill Peterson; grand nieces and nephews: Reagan, Ava, Wesley and Kinsley Peterson. 

Gary was preceded in death by his father: Harvey Meetz; two sisters: Judy Peterson and Lynn Meetz. 

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street, Green Bay with Father Patrick Beno officiating.  Visitation will occur from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Entombment will take place at a later time.
