Gary Arthur Zeitler, age 73, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Gary was born July 9, 1949, to the late Gerhardt and June (Rimple) Zeitler in Marinette, WI. He attended Southwest High School and graduated with the class of 1968. Gary proudly served in the US Army from 1968-1972 serving during Vietnam. Over the years Gary worked in Sales for Banner Oil, Pennzoil and retired from Klemm Tank Lines.
Gary enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and fishing. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and attending their activities.
Gary is survived by his former wife of 46 years: Mary (Ault) Zeitler of Howard; one daughter: Jessica (Tim) Clusman of Suamico; one son: Gary (Oriana) Zeitler of Howard; four grandchildren: Emma Clusman, Fulton Clusman, Vincent Zeitler, and Griffin Clusman; brother: Richard (Karen) Zeitler of Gays Mills, WI and Inverness FL; two sisters: Kathleen (Loren) Zeitler-Porretto of Kaukauna, and Margaret Suda of Green Bay; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and former sisters in law and brothers in law: Patricia (William) LaPointe, Wesley (Char) Ault, Elizabeth (Raymond) Beyers, Kathleen (Jeff) Brewer, Michael (Catherine) Ault, Margaret (Dan) Hager, Marc Ault and Susan (Thomas) Krueger.
Gary was greeted in Heaven by his parents: Gerhardt and June Zeitler; grandson: Jack Clusman; sisters: Patricia Johnson, and Juliene Zeitler; and a godson: Todd Zeitler.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Rd U, Green Bay with Reverend Stuart Dornfeld officiating. Visitation will occur from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Fort Howard Cemetery.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cardinal Ridge Assisted Living, Unity Hospice, Curative Connections and especially Dr. Kleiman for their care and compassion given to Gary while in their care. They also would like to give a special thank you to sister: Kathleen Zeitler-Porretto; and brother in law: Raymond Beyers for their loving care and support of Gary.
