Genevieve Andrews

Genevieve Andrews, age 89, Green Bay, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  She was born September 13, 1929 to the late Henry and Rose (Bukoski) Vannieuwenhoven in Suamico, Wisconsin.  On April 10, 1948, she married Vernon Andrews.  He passed away in 1995.  Genevieve was the owner/operator of Gen’s Café from 1972 to 1995.  She enjoyed talking with customers and traveling to Las Vegas.

She is survived by her two sons, James (Mary) Andrews and Mike Andrews and his friend, Lonna; one daughter, Diana Steeno; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marian Krautkramer; her brother, Eugene (Mary) Vannieuwenhoven; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Vernon, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn; two sons, Henry and Vernon (Barb); her granddaughter, Laurie; her son-in-law, Bill Steeno; a brother, Lawrence Vannieuwenhoven; and her sister Louise (Joe) Andrews.

Visitation for Genevieve will be Friday, January 4, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at St. Patricks’s Catholic Church, 211 North Maple Street, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 pm with Rev.
