Harlan "Rick" Eugene Heinrich, 92, of Green Bay passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Harlan was born on October 14, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Oscar and Anna (Gust) Heinrich. He was a graduate of Proviso East High School, Class of 1947. Harlan served his country in the United States Army. On June 25, 1960 he married the former Glenda Rentmeester. She preceded him in death on May 27, 2007. Over the years, Harlan was a sales representative and district manager for Benjamin Moore & Company. Harlan enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs, working in his yard, golfing, boating, fishing, grilling, going out to dinner with Glenda at their favorite places, and gathering together with famliy. He was a great storyteller, speaker, and loved to play a good-natured joke or two.
Harlan is survived by his children: Scott (Susan) Heinrich and Cindy (Michael) Albin; and grandson: David Albin. He was preceded in death by his parents: his wife: Glenda; and his brother: Elroy Henrich.
A memorial service to celebrate Harlan’s life will be held on Friday, May 6th at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church’s Suamico site, 2999 Lakeview Dr., Suamico, with Rev. Scott Malme officiating. Military honors will immediately follow the service. Relatives and friends may greet the family on May 6th at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. A private family committal service will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
