Harold David Erickson, age 88, passed away at home, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, with his wife by his side.
David was born to the late Harold and Sara (Devick) Erickson on March 3, 1936. He graduated from Bonduel High School and studied at UW-Steven’s Point.
David served our country in the U.S. Army with the Eighty Second Airborne division and was a trained military parachutist.
David married the former Iris Suring on August 15, 1959. The two recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Together they enjoyed golfing, and spending time with family and friends. David was a skilled woodworker, creating many unique keepsakes. He was an active member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
David is survived by his wife Iris, and was preceded in death by an infant son, and his parents.
A memorial service honoring David’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St. Agnes Dr., Green Bay. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church’s Foundations Capital Campaign.
