Herman James Miller, 76, Green Bay passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Herman was born on August 19, 1945 in New London to Oscar and Ann (Trapp) Miller. He was a graduate of Seymour High School. He married the former Jeanette Olsen. Herman was a truck driver and became fleet manager for Shopko until his retirement. Following retirement he started HJM Fleet Management. He was a member of TMC Trucking, where he served on the board of directors. Herman enjoyed trucking, airplanes, obtaining his pilot’s license, their weekly Thursday night dinners at Redwood Inn Restaurant, his Saturday morning breakfast with the guys, and most of all loved spending time with his family.
Herman is survived by his wife: Jan Miller; daughter: Sara (Matt) Koerbitz, International Falls, MN; granddaughters: Kelly and Kristen Koerbitz; sister-in-law: Brenda (Greg) Warrington, Wausaukee; nephew and niece: Chris (Jennie) Warrington, Wausaukee and Cynthia (Tim) Luckett, Enid, OK; and great nephews: Charlie and Joe. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law: Harold and Josephine Olsen; brother-in-law: Raymond Olsen; and aunt and uncle: Jim and Bea Trapp.
A funeral service to celebrate Herman’s life will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 5:30PM at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, with Deacon Michael Dabeck, officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 3:30PM until the time of service at 5:30PM.
