Howard P Wood, Jr.

Howard P. Wood, Jr., age 77, of Oneida passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home.

Howard was born November 3, 1944 in Chicago, son of the late Howard, Sr. and Ella (Harris) Wood.  He was a graduate of the United States Armed Forces Institute with the Class of 1962.  Howard was united in marriage to Arlene Livermore (Hansen) on August 28, 1987 in Green Bay.

Howard was an installer for several heating and cooling companies, last working for Johnson Controls.  He was a member of the Washington Lodge.

Howard enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, and planes.  He was an avid John Wayne fan.

Survivors include his wife: Arlene Wood, Oneida; Step-Children: Lu Ann (Scott) Bauer, Lambertville, MI, Steve (Kris Simonson) Livermore, De Pere; Grandchildren: Aaron (Theresa), Caleb, Jared, Katie (Andy); Great Grandson: Gabrielle, Sisters-In-Law, Brothers-In-Law, Nieces, Nephews and Robert Wood, Richard Wood, Barbara Wood, and Mathew Wood.

Howard was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother-in-law, Michael Hansen

There will be a showing for family and friends Friday, October 29th at the Lyndahl Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.  A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m.  Saturday, October 30th at Fort Howard Cemetery, Green Bay with full military honors to be accorded following the service.  The Shriners will also be present to honor Howard.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Nurses of Aurora and Mary for all of their help, support and care with Howard and his wife during his final days.
