Ileen Margaret (Meier) Ryskoski

Ileen Margaret Ryskoski, 76, of Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at St. Mary’s hospital. 

Ileen was born on July 23, 1947 in Green Bay to Leo and Noelle (Saulnier) Meier. She was among the first graduating class of Southwest High School. She attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and finished her degree at UW Green Bay. On July 22, 1967, she married David Meverden; they had two children together. On September 20, 1980, she married Francis Hart, together they owned and operated Paul Davis Systems, a fire and water restoration company. Fran preceded her in death on March 31, 1998. Ileen remained a widow until she married Norman Ryskoski on October 28, 2017.

Ileen was a lifelong member of Calvary Lutheran Church, where she served as a Luther League sponsor, council member, and alto in the choir. She sang with the Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College and was a member of a local doll club. She loved playing her piano, riding around town, touring homes and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog.

Survivors include her husband, Norman Ryskoski; her daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Jay Blanchard; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Kim Meverden; grandchildren: Emma, Dominic, Colton, and Alex; step-children: David and Ann Ryskoski, Richard and Sue Ryskoski, and Mary and Eric Langlois along with their children: Molly, Matthew, Michael, Stephen, Thomas, Edward, Andrew, Nathaniel, Bradley, Curtis, and Sarah; 14 step-great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Elisse Meier and brother-in-law and his wife, Robert and Carol Ryskoski. She is further survived by many dear friends that became her extended family.

A funeral service to celebrate Ileen’s life will be held on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1302 S. Ridge Road, with the Rev. Ben Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Sunday, April 7 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Ileen will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Allouez.
