Jacqueline "Jackie" J. (Ness) Gerondale

Jacqueline “Jackie” J. (Ness) Gerondale, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

Jackie was born in Green Bay to the late John “Jack” and Margaret (Nellis) Ness on September 16, 1930. She was united in marriage to Richard Gerondale at St. Joseph Parish in Green Bay. The two were together for almost 56 years until his passing in 2006.

Jackie enjoyed playing Mexican Train Dominoes, feeding birds, traveling, going for rides, and dancing to polka music every Saturday night. She worked at WPS for almost 35 years until her retirement.

Jackie is survived by her daughters: Sister Carol Gerondale and Karen Gerondale; her grandchildren: Jeff (Amanda), Scott (Becky), and Mark Leurquin; great-grandchildren: Finn, Theodosia “Teddy”, Archer, Ethan, and Jaxson Leurquin and Alex (Hailey) Duchane; great-great grandchild Parker Duchane; her brother James (Barb) Ness; brother-in-law Thomas Gerondale Sr.; special friend Sister Nancy Folkl; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Richard, and her brothers and sisters.

A Prayer Service will be held in honor of Jacqueline on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
