James Martin Lloyd, age 81, Ashwaubenon, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born January 31, 1940 in Richland Center to the late Martin Daniel and Gertrude (Keller) Lloyd. On September 7, 1974, he married Kate Jenness in Richland Center. Jim served his country in the U. S. Air Force from 1959 to 1963.
He was employed as an air traffic specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration for 38 years. For a short time, he was employed by Lockheed Martin before retiring the second time. Jim was a kind, loving husband, devoted father, and a good friend. He was an avid reader, a history buff, a Packer Fan, enjoyed wood carving and built furniture.
Jim is survived by his wife, Kate, Ashwaubenon; his son, Marty, Chaska, Minnesota; his brother and sister-in-law, John (Barb) Lloyd; two brothers-in-law, Kevin (Becca) Jenness and Charles (Mary Kaye) Jenness; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Jim will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay.
