James Nolan, 84, of Green Bay passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay.
Jim was born on January 28, 1941 in Marshall, MN to Thomas and Lucille (McGrath) Nolan. He was a graduate of St. Norbert High School. Jim served his country in the United States Army from 1963-1965. Over the years he worked at Mirro Aluminum and following his retirement, he worked part time at Schroeder Flowers.
Jim is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and James Sarns; sister-in-law, Mary Nolan; nieces and nephews: Jennifer Nolan (son, Sean), Kerry Nolan, Patrick Nolan (wife Marty), Kelly Nolan, Joseph Nolan (wife Michelle, and daughter Silas), Martin Nolan (children Ethan, Katherine, Kara, and Trevor), Matthew Nolan (wife Tiffany, and daughters Meghan and Cassandra); Gregory Sarns (wife Kolleen), Molly Luplow (husband Michael Luplow, and children Bridget and Oscar). Jim was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Lucille Nolan; brothers: John Nolan, Thomas Nolan, Lawrence Nolan, and Robert Nolan.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, with Rev. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
