Jean M. Edges

Jean Marie Edges, age 75, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born December 9, 1949 to the late Leonard and Myra (Frost) Orlando in Marinette, WI.  She attended Crivitz High School, graduating with the class of 1968.  On April 20, 1974 she married Leland “Lee” Edges, celebrating 50 years of marriage this past year.  Jean worked as a lab technician with the City of Green Bay/Brown County Health Department for 44 years.
Jean enjoyed her time “up north” at the family cottage in Lakewood, her trips to casinos, especially their bingo halls, the ladies from her Wednesday card group in Lakewood, and area restaurants especially the Sand Trap and Hillcrest in Lakewood and Renee’s at Twin Bridge.
She is survived by her husband Lee, one sister Joan Netzel, one brother Tony (Dianne) Orlando,  brother-in-law Pete (Carol) Edges, special nieces and nephews Rhonda (Bill) Uelmen and children Cooper and Griffin, Brad (Heidi) Netzel and children Jack, Nate, and Will, Dan Orlando, Kristin (Paul) Orlando and child Audrey, Lisa Francois and her children Mitch and Morgan,  Lynn (Tim) Reed, Brock and Samantha, Laurie (Billy) Waldschmidt, Mae, Randy (Gail) Edges and children Rachel and Amanda, Gaire Ebben, Debbie Van Boxtel, Kin Ebben, Richie Ebben, and Whitey Ebben. Jean is further survived by aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 
Jean was proceeded in death by her parents, her in-laws Earl and Margaret Edges, brothers-in-law Ron Netzel, Earl “Junior” Edges, Jerry Edges and sister-in-law Jean Ebben and nephew Danny Ebben. She was also preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday February 6, 2025 at The Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue.  Visitation will occur from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm.  Burial will take place at Fort Howard Cemetery.
