Jean Steinberger Obituary

Jean Rose Steinberger, 71, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Grancare Nursing Center, Green Bay.

Jean was born on July 20, 1948 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (Forst) Steinberger. She was a graduate of Denmark High School with the class of 1967. Jean retired from Georgia Pacific following 36 years of employment. She enjoyed watching nature with her special friend of 44 years, Larry Yunke; as well as cooking and baking, and travelling with her sister Betty.

Jean is survived by her siblings, Robert (Judith) Steinberger, Elizabeth Steinberger, James (Jane) Steinberger, Kenneth (Teri) Steinberger, Leonard (Lucy) Catherine (Paul) Peterson, Nancy (James) Selner; her special friend, Larry Yunke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucille Steinberger; her grandparents, Joseph and Anna (Prybl) Steinberger and Antone and Julia (Valenta) Forst; a nephew, Dan Steinberger.
