Jesse Paul Flynn of Green Bay, WI, lost his battle with addiction on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 36. Jesse was born on July 5, 1986, in GreenBay, WI, to Michael Flynn and Sheila (Reinhold) Flynn. Jesse graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 2005. He then went on to study social change and development and received his bachelor’s degree from UW-Green Bay.
Jesse will be remembered for being fiercely passionate about controversial topics. He never shied away from discussing politics, religion, human rights, or social injustices. He was unafraid to question the status quo, often bringing unique perspectives to the discussion.
Jesse will also be remembered for his love of the game of golf. He often worked summers at a local golf course when he was young. Additionally, he followed the Brewer and Packer games closely, and he shared his love for baseball and football with his dad. As he grew older, he took an interest in cooking, particularly grilling, and loved a good BBQ.
Jesse was a gifted and funny child. He could mysteriously recite the capital of all fifty states at a very young age - puzzling his parents and entertaining family friends with his knowledge. He was enamored with Star Trek and outer space, taught his little sister how to make a mean Orange Julius, and was so inspired by the clay animation series “Mr. Bill” that he made his own homemade “Mr. Bill” spoofs.
Jesse will be sorely missed by his mother: Sheila Flynn; Father: Michael Flynn; sister: Molly Flynn (Ross Bartelt), Milwaukee; brother: Charles (Anne) Farnsworth, Tacoma, WA; grandmother: LeVora Reinhold; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Wisconsin. Jesse was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Milo Flynn and Marge Mitchell; paternal step-grandfather: Matthew Mitchell, and maternal grandfather “papa”: Paul Reinhold. He is reunited with his beloved dog Kloe, who passed earlier this year.
A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held in private with close friends and family.
