John Marcel Huguet

John Marcel Huguet, age 75, of Green Bay, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025.  

John was born May 21, 1949 in Green Bay, WI to Marcel and Lillian Huguet. After John graduated from East High School he attended school in Minneapolis, MN for one year prior to enlisting in the United States Army, where he spent his time stationed in Germany.

John met the love of his life and best friend Jan in Green Bay in 1969. They married on October 21, 1972. They went on to have three children Jennifer, Marc, and Matthew. 

John sold insurance for most of his life and loved working with his wife in First Services Insurance and Investments and then Wisconsin Advantage with his children.  John never fully retired from the insurance world and continued to work up to the day that he passed away.

The Huguet family recently purchased some land with a small cabin on it in Wausaukee, WI. John spent all of his extra time at this property and loved to walk the trails, ride the toys and spend time with all of his family there.

John is preceded in death by his father Marcel his mother Lillian and his granddaughter Caitlin, as well as his brothers and sisters Mary, Rodney, David, Ann, and Peter.  John is survived by his wife Jan and his children and grandchildren Jennifer (Trevor and Gavin), Marc (Bo, Noah, Shion, Michael, Caden, Vivian, Lucky, and Kenji), and Matthew (Emily) as well as his sisters and brothers Joyce, Paul, Ellen, Jim, and Jay.

The family would like to thank all of John’s family, friends and clients for their support and condolences. 

The family will be holding a celebration of life in the near future for all family and close friends.
