John R. Roeser

John R. Roeser, age 81, of Green Bay passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at home.

John was born on May 31, 1944 in Green Bay, son of the late Arnold and Estelle (Schroeder) Roeser.  He was a graduate of Premontre High School with the Class of 1962.  On October 5, 1969 he was united in marriage to Meribeth Krejcarek in Manitowoc.

John worked at Structural Components Corporation until his retirement in 2007.

John enjoyed spending his summers at Edgewater Cottages in Fish Creek, fishing, golfing, was an avid sports enthusiast, playing cribbage (winning at), and was known to make a friendly wager on occasion.  

John remained competitive in rec league sports for basketball and softball, but by far his favorite teammates were the Swan Club, a group of true gentlemen whose friendships have lasted well over half a century (they continue to meet for breakfast on a regular basis).

Survivors include his children Christine Bennett (Todd) and Jason Roeser (Darcy); grandkids Ian and Kylie Bennett,  Mya and Jaelyn Roeser; brother Richard (Alice) Roeser, brother-in-law Kevin Krejcarek (Chimi); sister-in-law JoAnn Krejcarek and Janice Roeser, nephew Paul (Lori) Roeser, nieces Sandra Roeser, Shera Piontek (Todd) and Mary Herson-Roeser,

John was preceded in death by his wife Meribeth, parents Arnold and Estelle Roeser, and sister Mary Campbell (Roeser), nephews Michael Herson-Roeser and Robert Campbell; brother-in-laws Mark Krejcarek and Ronald Campbell.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the services at 11:30 a.m.
