Karen K. De Muth, 79, of Green Bay passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Aurora BayCare Center.
Karen was born on August 30, 1944 in Green Bay to the late Carl F. and Mabel J. (Brown) O’Dell. She attended schools in Green Bay and graduated with the class of 1962 from Green Bay West High School. On April 19, 1969, she married Dennis De Muth in Menominee, MI. Karen worked at Schrieber Foods, then Kohls Department Store until her retirement. Karen enjoyed reading, cross stitching, and going to Door County.
Karen is survived by her husband: Dennis De Muth, Green Bay; daughter: Pennie De Muth, Green Bay; mother-in-law: Jackie (Al) Meyers, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law: Patrick (Darlene) O’Dell, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Louis (Marie) De Muth, Green Bay, Kathy Vandenbush, Green Bay, Laura (Mark “Sparky”) VandenAvond, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Mabel O’Dell; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
A memorial service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., with Rev. Josh Fite officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service 3:00 pm.
