Karen M. Herzog

Karen Marie Herzog, 86, Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Woodside Assisted Living.

Karen was born on January 2, 1936 in Gillett to Leigh and Frances (Thibadeau) Kesler. She was a graduate of Gillett High School. On July 19, 1954, she married Arnold Herzog. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2009. Karen was a dedicated wife and mother as well as working on the family dairy farm. Karen was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting, walking and biking, and wintering in Arizona.

Karen is survived by her children: Kris (Jim) Ziegler, Lynn (Mark) Wells, Rick (Karen) Herzog, Jan Herzog, Rob Herzog, Tom Herzog, Phil (Becky) Herzog, and Karel (Keith) Abts; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Harold Niemann, Susan Kesler, Adelin Deering, and Durham Herzog. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Arnold; daughter-in-law: Kim Herzog; parents-in-law: Ewald and Jennie Herzog; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., with Rev. Josh Fite officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm.
