Obituary

On Monday, April 12, 2021, Keith C. Roeser, loving husband to Laura and father to his daughters Kaycee Emanuel and Kayla (Patrick) Gary and 3 stepchildren Pauline (Mark) Joppru, Valerie (Brent) Gundlah, William “BJ” (Kristin) Kays.  passed away at the age of 64.

Keith was born on November 15, 1956 in Green Bay, WI to Jay and Edith (Kassner) Roeser/Jarosinski. He graduated from Preble High School 1974, he received his Cement Finishers Journeymanship from local 341 of Santa Barbara California where Keith worked out of the union and for Oakeson Construction and he had his own business until he returned to Wisconsin.  Then he joined the Cement Finishers local 633 of Minneapolis, Minnesota where he worked out of the union and for many large contractors such as Miron Construction, Gresser Construction, Langer Construction, Kraemer Construction and many others until  2014 when he was unable to continue work in the construction field.  On September 29, 1995 He married Laura (Furrer) Kays.  They resided in the Eau Claire/Menomonie Wisconsin area where they raised their pet dogs Angie, Molly and Bob the cat.  

Keith was a devoted Packer Football fan, (We Go Green Bay) He enjoyed hunting and fishing as long as it didn't interfere with a Packer game.  He also enjoyed music.   Those of us that had a chance to ride in a vehicle with him know he enjoyed a wide variety of music from folk and blues, country western, rock and more.  You would often find him singing a random song or whistling one.  He was known for his infectious laugh, quick wit, and quotes.  Like “I da the boss you futters I the boss”, “God invented beer to keep construction workers from ruling the world”, “you can’t put a price on having fun” and many more.    

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Jay Roeser, his mother, Edith Roeser/Jarosinski, brother Jay (Rusty) Roeser, stepfather Sylvester Jarosinski, stepbrothers Alan Jarosinski, David Jarosinski. and son in-law Jason Emanuel, father in-law, James Furrer, mother in-law Mary Lou Helenhouse.  He is survived by his wife Laura Roeser, his daughters Kaycee Emanuel and Kayla (Patrick) Gary.  Stepchildren, Pauline (Mark) Joppru, Valerie (Brent) Gundlah, William “BJ” (Kristin) Kays.  Grandchildren Elliott, Matthew, Mitchell, Hope, Tess, Marah,Brady and Nolan, sister Kayle (Larry) Wahleithner, brothers Jan (Rita) Roeser, Jamie Roeser, Kyle (Debbie) Roeser, step sister Linda (Roland) Grode, step brothers Tom Jarosinski, Dan Jarosinski, Larry (Barb)Jarosinski, Mark (Jean) Jarosinski,  Jeff Jarosinski, Greg (Teri) Jarosinski, Steve Jarosinski, step sister in-law Lori Jarosinski.  Sister in-laws Donna (Clarke) Anderson, Frankie (Patrick) Hendron, step mother in-law Darla Furrer, step brother in-laws, Damon (Jolene) Johnson, Dylan (Vicki) Johnson, step sisters in-laws Decho (Walter) Bailey, Darci (Lankford) Ewell, Dewyn (Brian) Avey and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave, Green Bay from 12:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Officiating at the service will be Robbert Derks. A live stream of the services will be available on Keith’s tribute page at www.lyndahl.com where relatives and friends may also leave expressions of sympathy and photos for Keith’s family.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to The Salvation Army.
