Keith Watermolen Obituary

Keith R. (Skeeter) Watermolen, age 74, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on December 22, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on August 27, 1947, in De Pere, WI, to Donald Wilber and Rosella Helena (Geurts) Watermolen. He was a graduate of West De Pere High School.
Keith joined the United States Air Force and served his country honorably from 1965 to 1969.  During his time in the USAF, he was a Master Sergeant, deployed to Vietnam and stationed at the Cam Ranh Bay Air Force Base.  On May 1, 1971, he married his beloved Sharon Cecelia Michaud at St. Agnes Church in Green Bay.  Keith was a Sr. Buyer for Moore Response Marketing Company, now known as RR Donnelly Printing Company and Superintendent of Public Works for the Village of Ashwaubenon for 10 years until his retirement in 2010.
Keith was honored to be an elected Trustee in the Village of Ashwaubenon from 1980-1999, and a Brown County Supervisor from 1996 until 2004.  He was a member of the Ashwaubenon Retired Fire Co. 213 Inc., Ashwaubenon Lions Club, Ashwaubenon VFW, and the Ashwaubenon Moose Chapter 451. Keith enjoyed hunting pheasant in South Dakota, fishing in Canada, hunting elk in Colorado, and the comradery of his wonderful hunting and fishing companions.
He enjoyed vacationing and taking cruises with Sharon, cooking booyah for the Nativity of our Lord Church picnics, playing cribbage, and helping any friend with a project.  He had a big heart, and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 
He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 50 years; two daughters, Nichole Amarillas, Phoenix, AZ, and Julie Hession, Palatine, IL; four grandchildren, Aydan and Alanna Amarillas and Nathan and Phillip Hession; two sisters, Marsha (Roger) Stevens, and Jean (Ron Martin) Watermolen; close friends, Toni & Todd Micoley and their children, Tatiana, Tahlia, and Trey.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, mother, and his older sister Karen (Garth) Winckler.
Visitation will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Rev. Matt Simonar officiating.  Following the service, Entombment will take place at Fort Howard Mausoleum with full Military Honors being accorded.
