Ken served two years with the 101st Division of the US Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to the area and began a four-year apprenticeship in the flooring trade at The White Store. Ken met, fell in love with, and married his beloved partner, Geraldine “Gerry” Pasterski, daughter of Robert and Katherine Pasterski. For 38 years, he owned and operated L.P. Mooradian Flooring Company.

His legacy is also carried on by his 11 grandchildren, Cullen (Lindsay) Braun, Cichelle (Gabe) Dahl, Cam (Erin) Braun, Jamie (Rey) Moore, JD (Jenny) Disney, Josh (Alyse) Disney, Danielle Weyenberg, Lindsay Weyenberg, Caitlin (Pat) Timmerman, Casey Trafford-Braun, and Ryan Trafford-Braun, as well as 23 adored great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his close friend Susan Shea.

Ken will be remembered most for seeing the worth in everybody and treating them with care.
“Loving and kind in all his ways, upright and just to the end of his days; Sincere and true in his heart and mind, a beautiful memory he left behind. He had a nature that was purer than gold; And to those who knew him and loved him, his memory will never grow cold.”
