Kenneth L. Nehring, age 84, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital.
Ken was born on January 3, 1941, at Shawano, son of the late Roy C. and Louise L. (Milarch) Nehring. He grew up in Shawano and was a 1959 graduate of Shawano High School. On January 16, 1960, Ken was married to the former Bernice R. Martin in Bonduel. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in January. He worked for PCM as a machine design engineer for many years, retiring in 2003.
Ken was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Green Bay and enjoyed painting, gardening, antiquing and going to yard sales.
Survivors include his wife: Bernice Nehring of Green Bay; one son Daniel Nehring of Shawano; two daughters and one son-in-law: Debra (Greg) Dudzik of De Pere; Katherine Nehring of Shawano; two grandchildren: Zac (Kelcie) Dudzik of De Pere; Jade (Ryan) Holewinski of Combined Locks; five great grandchildren: Sawyer, Finnley, Aubree, Adalyn and Everly; one sister and brother-in-law: Susan (Dan) Pulver of Pardeeville; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Louise Nehring; one brother: Don Nehring and one sister: Betty Teetsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 South Ridge Road, Green Bay. The Rev. Diane Martinson will officiate with entombment to follow at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the Calvary Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations would be appreciated in Ken’s name for the American Cancer Society.
