Larry Lee Boyd, age 79, Green Bay, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born July 4, 1939 in Pound, Wisconsin. On November 13, 1976, he married Karen Marie Roskam in Green Bay. Larry served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1958 until 1962.
He was a member of the Green Bay Moose Lodge and a volunteer for Concerned Hearts. He enjoyed going up north to his cottage where he loved to fish, go on the pontoon boat and being with his family. Larry also liked to play games on his computer and phone. Larry’s favorite day of the year was his birthday, the Fourth of July, because everyone celebrated and his granddaughter always made him a cake.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his daughter, Carrie (Michael) Knapp; his granddaughter, Kayla Knapp; his mother, Alice Boyd; sisters, Debbie (Bill) Nuthals and Mary (Perry) Hartman; his brother-in-law, Gene (Terry) Roskam; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leo; siblings, Bob, Pat, Dan and Kathy; and his step-children, Brad Lasch and Vicky Lasch.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 3:00 pm until the memorial service at 6:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos may be shared with Larry’s family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
