Lenice "Lennie" Brunson

Lenice “Lennie” M. Brunson, 86, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born on April 22, 1932 in Dubuque, Iowa to the late Clarence and Mary (Speak) Williams. On June 4, 1951 she married Richard Brunson in Eau Clarie.

Lennie was employed by NWTC, where she taught crocheting classes for over 25 years. She was an active member of Ss. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church where she served in the kitchen, helped with fundraisers and participated with the Altar Rosary.

     She is survived by two daughters, Catherine (Richard) Bartels of Peshtigo and Kimberly Brunson of Green Bay; one grandson, Adam (Rachael) Starks; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Carmen and Hunter; sister, Mary Joan (Jo Jo) Pickney; special friends, Mary and Mark Olson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and two brothers, Carl Williams and Clarence (Theresa) Williams.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm. A parish wake service will take place at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Ss. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Road, from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Rev. Brendan Wroblewski, OFM will be officiating. Burial will take place at the Ss. Edward and Isidore Cemetery.      The family would like to thank the staff at Marla Vista and Unity Hospice for the excellent care that was given to Lennie.
