Leroy “Lee” Uecker, age 80, of Green Bay passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
Lee was born October 25, 1944 in Green Bay, son of the late George and Esther (Brandenburg) Uecker. He was united in marriage to the former Jane Agamaite on July 16, 1971 at Anunciation Catholic Church.
Lee served in the U.S. Navy, being deployed two different times to Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in November of 1968.
Lee enjoyed golfing, skiing, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #139.
Survivors include his wife Jane Uecker, one sister Barbara (Scott) Tremberth, two nephews Brett (Jennifer) Hurney (their children Gage (Victoria), Gannon and Ireland (Bryce Handy) (and their children Jett & Stetson)), Michael Ackerman (Ripp) and his In-laws: Janet (Jim) Weber, Joanne Beck and Jerry Agamaite (friend Susan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and one sister and brother-in-law; Karon & Dan Ripp.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Visitation will take place at Lyndahl Funeral Home (1350 Lombardi Ave.) on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 1 – 3 p.m. Full Military Honors will then follow the visitation.
