Levi Roskom Obituary

Levi G. Roskom, age 92, of Green Bay passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Levi was born April 17, 1933 in Duck Creek, son of the late Peter and Anna (Cumps) Roskom. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1951. Levi proudly served his country in the United States Army in Germany from 1953-1955.

On June 9, 1956 he was united in marriage at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church to the love of his life, Alice (VandenLangenberg). Together Levi and Alice raised seven wonderful children and created a loving and happy family life. Levi worked for Paper Converting Machine Company for 36 years as a purchasing agent until his retirement in 1993.

Levi’s favorite hobby was keeping his beautiful red 1966 Corvair in mint condition. He attended many car shows in the area throughout the years with his Corvair and won many trophies, passing those trophies on to his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing at Thunder Lake every summer with his fishing buddies and playing cards with his brothers. He was in a bowling league for many years, loved golfing with his sons and putting puzzles together.

Levi was so very proud of his family and the precious moments he got to spend with everyone, especially on holidays and special occasions. On those special occasions Levi was usually called upon at dinner time to say a few words and a prayer, never making it to the end without a few tears. He enjoyed attending his children’s, grandchildren’s and great- grandchildren’s sporting events, band concerts, dance recitals, Christmas concerts, etc. He was a gentle, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed dearly.

Levi is survived by his wife of 69 years, Alice; his seven children Larry (Kay), Debbie (John), Nancy (Jayme), Kevin (Diane), Pat (Andrea), Craig (Lisa) and Todd (Laura); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and in-laws; and a granddaughter, Abby.

The family wishes to thank Unity Hospice and Allouez Senior Living for their kind and compassionate care of Levi.
