Linda A. Haag, 97, Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Emerald Bay in Hobart.
Linda was born on March 10, 1925 in Gillett to Frank and Elsie (Strei) Zastrow. She was a graduate of Gillett High School. On August 12, 1944, she married Erwin Haag. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1986. Over the years, Linda worked at Fabry Glove Co., retiring in 1990. She also volunteered over 3000 hours at Bethesda. She enjoyed quilting and made hats for cancer patients. Linda was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where she was involved with the Altar Guild, LWML, serving as chairman, and made silk banners for the church. Linda was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Linda is survived by her children: Rev. Steven (Karen) Haag, Christine (Gary) Kozicke, and Constance (Douglas) Vercauteren; daughters-in-law: Paula Haag, and Linda Haag; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and step-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Erwin; two sons: Stuart Haag and Sheldon Haag; one brother and sister-in-law: Theodore (Angeline) Zastrow; sisters and brother in law; Edna (Walter) Rusch, Doris (Leroy) Steiner, and Elda (Delbert) Miller.
A funeral service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:30 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., with Rev. Paul Pett officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service at 10:30 am. Burial will take place at Stiles Cemetery following the service.
