Linda Frances Rydberg passed away on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. She passed
away at the age of 51 after a lifetime of loving and caring for her family and her
friends.
Linda grew up in Green Bay, even though she went through most of her childhood
in foster homes, she settled at her grandparents’ house when she was 12 years
old. Their house was about two blocks from Lambeau Field and she was a dedicated Packers fan. One of her first jobs was at Godfather’s Pizza which was right across from the stadium. She always liked to brag about all the Packers players that she served there.
Linda attended St. Mary’s elementary school in Green Bay until she moved in with
her grandparents and then attended the Adventist Junior Academy in Green Bay
before heading to Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, Wisconsin for her junior and
senior year of high school. She held friendship’s dear until the day she passed.
She worked as an Executive Assistant for 30 years, which she felt was her true
calling, and was very proud of the work she did.
She became a recovery coach, took multiple workshops to get different
certifications, and work with two non-profit organizations, Wega Arts and The
DarJune Foundation. She decided to go back to school to get a degree as a
Substance Use Disorder Counselor, we were all so proud of her.
Linda is survived by her children, Courtney, Tyler, along with her other son,
Zachary, and her youngest child, Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her two
grandchildren, which were the lights of her life, Lilly and Emerson. She was
preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Russell and Irene Davis, and
her son, Kyle.
Our lives will never be the same without our “rock”. We love her and always will.
My brother, sisters, and I will try to honor her memory by paying it forward every
chance we get.
Love you, mom.
