Lisa A. Courchaine, age 59, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. Lisa was born September 18, 1963, to John and Sharon (Bell) Shoulak. She attended Ashwaubenon High School and graduated with the class of 1982. Lisa worked for Schroeder’s Flowers for over 30 years; most recently, as the Director of Interior Plant Maintenance.
Lisa enjoyed spending time in nature - gardening, collecting rocks, and photographing its beauty. She was a talented and creative person her entire life - she especially loved sewing, crocheting, and DIY projects around her home. She was a devoted and supportive mother. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, sense of humor, and ability to form deep meaningful connections with those around her.
She is survived by her daughter Miranda Courchaine; partner Steve Simon; sisters: Debra (David) Hall and Kim Landry; stepbrothers: Brent (Darcy) Gunderson and Garet (Michelle) Gunderson; sisters-in-law: DeeDee (Dale) Franson and Mickey (Fred) Freybler; brothers-in-law: Michael (Joni) Courchaine and Kevin Landry; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (John) Kyp, Stephanie Hall, John Hall, Amy Van Roy, Alexandria Landry, Kaitlyn (Eric) Halron, Matthew Everard, Nicole (Kyle) VanDerWerff, Benjamin (Lacey) Courchaine; and many great nieces and nephews. As well as her loyal puppies, Ella and Grace.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Guy Courchaine; daughter Hailey Courchaine; mother Sharon (Clyde) Nead; father John (Peggy) Shoulak; mother-in-law Donna (John Courchaine, Don Landry, & Richard Kohrt) Kohrt; grandparents: Lois & Ernie Bell and Harvey & Marie Shoulak; and sister-in-law Leigh Ann Pristash.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Ave., Green Bay, with Ann Froelich officiating. Visitation will occur from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the Bellin Cancer Team (especially Dr. Torres, Dean, Annie, Julie, & Natalie) and Unity Hospice for their care.
