Lola M. Obey, age 94, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was born September 11, 1929, to Douglas and Florence (Samuelson) Butterfield in Rhinelander, WI. Lola attended and graduated from Rhinelander High School. Lola worked for many years at The Brown County Mental Health Center.
Lola loved playing bingo and knitting and crocheting. She loved the outdoors and was a great baker and cook.
Lola is survived by three daughters: Sally Obey (Mike Henzel), Sandra (Dirk) Stacie, and Kathy Obey (Mike DeWitt); two grandchildren: Nicole Jensen and Wyatt Obey; five great grandchildren; Gracie Jensen, Bristol Jensen, Jack Jensen, Owen Obey and Gordon Obey; one son-in-law: Mike Juds; and one sister: Sally Davison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Robert Obey; one daughter: Janice Juds; one brother and sister-in-law: Richard and Rose Butterfield; and brother-in-law Ralph Davison; along with her aunt: Joanne Larson.
Visitation be held on Wednesday November 8, 2023, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm at The Lyndahl Funeral home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay. Entombment will follow at Fort Howard Mausoleum.
