Louise Mae Erickson

Louise M. Erickson, age 90, passed away Thursday December 12, 2024 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence, De Pere.  She was born May 27, 1934 in De Pere to the late Russel and Marcella (Pokorny) Duprey.  On June 7, 1952 she married Manton “Matt” Erickson at Redemer Lutheran Church, Green Bay.  He preceded her in death on January 30, 2020.

Louise was a cook at San Luis Manor for many year until her retirement in 1999.  She enjoyed traveling, cooking, flowers and especially loved the Green Bay Packers.

She is survived by one daughter: Kim (Mike) Riegert, De Pere; one son: Gary (Darlene) Erickson, Pulaski; five grandchildren: Matthew (Jennifer) Erickson, Lucas (Tracy) Erickson, Marcella (Bill) Rentmeester, Michelle (Greg) Colwell and Sheri Melgar; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers in law: Yvonne (Ronald) Hager, JoAnn (Tim) Nielson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Matt, one brother Robert Duprey, one sister Verona (Robert) Faultynski and one grandson-in-law Jose Melgar.

A Private Family service was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  Entombment was at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
