Lynn M. Schindel

Lynn M. Schindel, age 75, of Fairborn OH, passed away December 10, 2021.  She was born December 14, 1945, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Kermit and Lucy (Schneider) LaChapelle.  

Lynn enjoyed crafts, bingo, bowling and traveling.  She liked penguins, Boston Terriers and was a fan of The Beach Boys.  Lynn graduated Green Bay West High School in 1964 and left Green Bay in 1968, moving to Italy, Iowa, and Virginia before settling in Ohio.  

Lynn is survived by her Uncle: David Schneider; Cousins: Margaret (Fred) Laskowski, and Anne (Darold) Simpson; among other cousins, and many dear friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: James Schindel, Jr.; and her Aunt: Pat Schneider. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday December 20, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay, WI with Deacon Mike Dabeck officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  

Lynn will be buried next to her son at Nicolet Memorial Gardens in Green Bay.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 Twenty-Fourth St, NW, Washington, DC 20037.  Due to Covid 19 concerns, masks are required.
