Mabel Helen Krahn

Mabel Helen Krahn, 83, of Green Bay passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Anna’s House in New Franken.

Mabel was born on February 13, 1942 in Green Bay to Henry and Alma (Rose) Krahn. She attended Zion Lutheran Grade School and Fox Valley Lutheran High School. Over the years, Mabel helped take care of her parents. Mabel was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and sang in the church choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music.

Mabel is survived by her nephew and two nieces: Gloria Martin, Robert (Julie) Bruss, and Betty Duescher; great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Alma Krahn; sister and brother-in-law: Elna and Herold Bruss; and two nephews-in-law: Fred Martin and Bob Duescher.

A funeral service to celebrate Mabel’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, 7395 County Road W, Greenleaf, with Rev. James Enderle officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
