Marcia Bott Obituary

Marcia Anne Bott, 86, Ashwaubenon was called to her heavenly home on Friday, May 24, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Marcia was born on May 6, 1938 in Fond Du Lac to the late Ruben and Marion (Hoy) Priebe. Marcia was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond Du Lac. On December 27, 1958, she married her childhood sweetheart. Marcia was a dedicated and devoted wife and mother and took great pride in raising their family. As the children got older, Marcia worked as a bank teller for First Northern Bank for 19 years.

Marcia was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Kenwood campus, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, on the ladies’ guild and faithfully attended bible study. Marcia enjoyed couples league bowling with her husband and friends for years. Marcia loved traveling with her family, especially time in Florida, Disney World trips, and lighthouse explorations. The Packer game day experience at their home near Lambeau Field is fondly remembered by the family because she made it warm and welcoming for everyone. Their cottage on Wheeler Lake is also a special place for the family gatherings, with Marcia ensuring treasured moments together and family traditions including card-playing and bonfires. Marcia cherished time spent with her family, rarely missing any of the various activities and sporting events of her children and grandchildren over the years.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband: Richard Bott; three daughters: Katherine (Joe) Neuberger, Paula (Keith) Asen, and Victoria (Stuart) Fronk; grandchildren: Jenna (Zach) Burczyk, Rachel (Cody) Peterson, Joseph (fiancé’ Samantha) Neuberger, Olivia Asen, Riley Asen, Elizabeth Fronk, Anna Fronk, and Virginia Fronk; great-grandchildren: Isaiah and Autumn Burczyk and Camden and Cole Peterson; and sister-in-law and close friend: Lois Priebe. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents: Ruben and Marion Priebe; two brothers: David (Janice) Priebe, and Thomas Priebe; and her dear niece: Trisha Babler.

A funeral service to celebrate Marcia’s life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 4:00 pm at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1167 Kenwood Street Green Bay, with Michael Henning officiating.
