Marilyn "Judy" Hollmaier Obituary

Marilyn “Judy” Hollmaier, age 79, of Green Bay passed away Friday, May 9, 2025.

Judy was born August 20, 1945 in Marinette, daughter of the late William and Libby (Paitl) Rimple.  She went to Low Valley school, a one-room grade school through 8th grade, then to Oconto Falls High School for one year.  Judy graduated then after three years from Lena High School with the Class of 1963.

On August 20, 1966 she married Robert Hollmaier of Coleman, WI.  They got married between peas and corn season, since they both worked at the canning factory.  The reception was at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Judy last worked at TNT Crust before her retirement.

Survivors include her brother Joseph Rimple, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents William & Libby Rimple, her husband Robert Hollmaier, two brothers Harvey & Merlin and 2 sisters June & Joanne.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (2160 Packerland Drive), Green Bay.  Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls at a later time.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.

The Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the Hollmaier family with arrangements.
