Mary L. Sampson, age 70, an Oneida resident, passed away Monday morning, September 27, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital of Green Bay.
Mary was born on April 12, 1951 in Menominee, MI. daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Elaine M. (Fleurant) LaCombe. On October 3, 1981 she married Gregory S. Sampson at St. Joseph Parish in Marinette, WI. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2015. She was employed as an LPN at St. Mary’s Hospital of Green Bay on the 5th floor. Mary enjoyed volunteering and was always very charitable. She loved spending time with her husband and best friend, Greg, when he was alive and her great nieces and nephews as well.
Survivors include one daughter: Katie Sampson, Green Bay; one son and daughter-in-law: Stephen (Megan) Sampson, Milwaukee; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry (Carol) LaCombe, Mike (Denise) LaCombe, John (Cheryl) LaCombe; one sister: Ann Rasmussen; and one cousin/sister-in-law: Sally Sampson. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother: Mark LaCombe; and two brothers-in-law: Peter Rasmussen and George Sampson.
Cremation has taken place and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Senton Catholic Church (2771 Oakwood Drive), Green Bay.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Senton Catholic Church, Green Bay, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
The family requests that masks be worn as a precaution for the visitation and service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to a charity of your choice.
The Lyndahl Funeral Home of Green Bay is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
