Mary S. (Mendez) Schmitz

Mary S. Schmitz, 79, of Green Bay, passed away on January 26, 2025 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. Born on February 12, 1945 in Laredo, TX, to the late Thomas and Maria Mendez, she married Dale Schmitz on June 17, 1972.

Mary was a loving Mother, loyal Spouse, Grandmother, and devoted Christian who ministered and counseled others in their time of need. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, was an avid gardener, loved beading jewelry, and appreciated the simple and natural beauty of life around her.

She is survived by her husband, Dale, and sons Glenn, Stephen, and Michael. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:30 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm till 2:30 pm.
