Mary Claire Sevcik, 82, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mary was born on August 7, 1943 in Madison, WI to Donald and LaVerne (Garfoot) Keegan. She was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. Mary married Donald Sevcik on June 26, 1965 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. She worked for over 28 years for Global Recognition as a monogrammer.
Mary had a strong faith and was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, where she volunteered for over 15 years. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, taking walks with friends, traveling to Hawaii, Ireland and Florida. Mary was a dedicated and devoted wife, mom and grandma, always putting her family first. Her love was unconditional and she cherished every moment spent together.
Mary is survived by her husband: Donald Sevcik; children: Michael (Sandee) Sevcik, Kevin (Nicole) Sevcik, and Michelle (Scott) LeGrave; grandchildren: Grace (Mike) Coady, Erin (Nick) Guthery, Adam (fiancé Jordan Deau) Sevcik, Rachele Sevcik, Steven (fiancé Abbi Parsons) Sevcik, Travis (significant other Megan Vandermause) LeGrave, and Dylan LeGrave; great-grandchildren: Addyson, Leah, Cora, Kendall, and Winona; and two brothers: Daniel (Janne Abreo) Keegan, and John (Audrey) Keegan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and LaVerne Keegan; granddaughter: Emily Sevcik; twin brother: Terry (Linda) Keegan; sister-in-law: Mary Keegan; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Simon and Rosalie Sevcik; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A funeral service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St., with Rev. Matt Simonar celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, and again on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the CHURCH from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
