Michael M. Stoychoff

Michael M. Stoychoff, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 30th at his home.  Mike was born on March 2, 1946 in Iron River, MI to Dorothy (Mitchell) and the late Harley Stoychoff.  He married Carole Dorner on February 14, 1970 and they had 48 wonderful years together.  He spent 30 years working at Sysco Foods making lasting relationships with clients throughout northern Wisconsin. The family vacationed in Hawaii, Bahamas and many other fun locations thanks to his award-winning work. 

Mike is survived by his wife, Carole; and three children, Mitchell (Julie) Stoychoff, Tracy (Matthew) Earll and Ryan (Megan) Stoychoff; his grandchildren, Hayden and Haylee Stoychoff, Madelyn and Cayden Earll and Fisher, Archer, and Trapper Stoychoff.  He is further survived by his mother, Dorothy Stoychoff; brother,  Brian (Cindy) Stoychoff; sisters-in-law, Mary Rahr and Lynn (Steve) Cornette; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Pat) Dorner and Gene (Lisa) Dorner.  He is further survived by his very special fishing buddies, Steve Gress and Steve Johnson; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Stoychoff; sister, Jane Thomas; brothers-in-law, Lyle Dorner, Henry Rahr, John Johnson, William Wiggins; sister-in-law, Linda Johnson and niece, Jessica Johnson Marchi.  

Mike was a passionate fisherman, who spent many hours at his cabin and in his boat fishing with his kids and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 6:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Mike’s family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
