Nathan G. Haning, 56, of Green Bay, WI, peacefully met God Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born in Green Bay, January 30,1968, the son of the late Conde Haning and Janice (Parmentier) Mellberg and of Rene' Mellberg.
Nathan was a graduate of Southwest High School and continued his education while earning a collegiate rodeo scholarship. He married Sue Weirich on September 4, 1998, in De Pere. Though they parted ways, they maintained a close friendship.
Nathan was passionate about the mortgage and finance industry he excelled in. He enjoyed the simple things in life and was a kind, compassionate, and vibrant person. Nathan loved when family and friends parked at his home during Packer games, always greeting them with a smile and a cocktail.
Nathan is survived by his father: Rene' Mellberg; siblings: Conde (Chip) Haning of Green Bay, Dan (Teri Berg) Haning of Allouez, Peter Mellberg of Allouez, Steve (Erin Hunter) Mellberg of De Pere, and Molly Daanen of De Pere; 7 nephews and nieces: Dalton, Jack, Grace, Samuel, Hayden, Jameson, and Caitlin; his partner Nola Oberhofer, and her children, Alec, Jake, and Ella. He was preceded in death by his father, Conde B. Haning, mother, Janice Mellberg, and his best friend and brother, Mattheu Haning.
A celebration of Nathan's life will be planned at a future date.
