Neil Leo Ness

Neil Leo Ness, Little Suamico, WI passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2025, with his companion of over 40 years, Casey at his side.

Neil was welcomed into this world by his parents, Willie and Rose (Brownell) Ness, on May 5th, 1941 in Green Bay, WI. He was the third youngest of 13 children.

Neil enjoyed spending time with his 2 nephews, Orvil and Richard Ness. He loved spending time with his dog, watching wrestling and westerns on T.V.

Neil is survived by his loving companion, Casey (Sharon Gilson) Ness, (former wife). Two sisters, Gladys Stuewer, Bonduel, WI and Peggy Magee, Pleasant, KS. With a special place in his heart for Orvil Ness, Richard Ness and his spouse, Kim. He is further survived by many other nieces and nephews. Neil is also survived by his loving dog, Jessie.

Neil is proceeded in death by his daughter, Joy; his parents Willie and Rose (Browell) Ness, siblings Violet LaCount, Glenn Ness, Lester Ness, Clyde Ness, Gordon Ness, Cletus Ness, Blanche Jansch, Shirley Tuttle, Natalie Shaw and Lyle Ness; half-brother and half-sisters Elmer, Melvin, Ida, and Ethal; along with in-laws, nieces and nephews. Neil is also preceded in death by his loving fur baby, Jake, this past year.

Neil will be sadly missed by family and friends.

A private burial service was held by the family at the Suamico Cemetery.
