Patricia “Pat” E. Lane, 84, of Green Bay passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Bellin Hospital.
Pat was born on August 11, 1941 in Winthrop, MA to Leo and Mary (Robinson) Boyle. On June 5, 1970 she married David Lane in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2013. Pat earned her master’s degree in education and dedicated herself to education, spending most of her career at Crivitz Middle School. Following her retirement, Pat spent countless hours volunteering at St. John’s Homeless Shelter. Pat was an active member at St. John the Baptist Church as well as her condo association.
Pat is survived by her step-children: Paul (Pam) Lane, Fond Du Lac, Ted (Veronica) Lane, Orange Park, FL, and Teri ( significant other Steve Bach) Lane, Jackson; grandchildren: Carolyn Lane and Eric (Kate) Lane; great-grandchild: Baker Lane; sister: Mary (Bob) Bergfeld; sister-in-law: Marcie Boyle, NC; and special niece: Liz (significant other Trudy Lorberblatt) Kleba; and other nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Mary Boyle; husband: David Lane; and brother: Mike Boyle.
A memorial service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 12:00pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Homeless Shelter in Pat’s memory.
