Randy Maesch

Randy Maesch, 67, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on Sunday July 18, 2021, while out in the garden doing what he loved. 

He was born on March 18, 1954, in Shawano, WI to Harold and Eleanor (Styzinski) Moesch. He was a lifelong resident of the Green Bay area. After graduating from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1972, he earned his associate degree in police science from NWTC. He served on the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for 34 years until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, hunting, and tending to the old family farmsteads. He also volunteered for several years at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Some of his other passions included sports trivia, sports memorabilia, and nature inspired crafts. 

He will be sadly missed by his father, Harold; mother, Ele; brother Dan (Diane) Moesch; nieces and nephew Kalyn, Kristin (Carlos Loyo), and Aaron (Morgan Fogarty) Moesch. He will be remembered by his aunts, uncles, special relatives, and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Randy's name.

Visitation will take place Friday July 23, 2021, from 9am until 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (936 9th Street, Green Bay) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, Father Armando Red officiating.
