Richard "Rich" Joseph Gegare

Richard “Rich” J. Gegare, 74, of Lakewood passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his home.

Rich was born on June 7, 1947 in Green Bay to Raymond and Catherine “Kitty” (Desotelle) Gegare. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. On October 27, 1973, he married the former Kathryn Hohne. Rich was a machine operator for Tape Inc.  In his free time, Rich enjoyed watching Nascar, casino trips and time spent in Lakewood.

Rich is survived by his wife: Kathy; children: Amy (Bentley) Gegare, and Jeff (Tanya) Gegare; two granddaughters: Hannah and Leah; mother-in-law: Carol Hohne; granddogs; brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents; brother; sister; father-in-law; sister-in-law; niece; and nephew.

A time of visitation to celebrate Rich’s life will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
