Robert "Bob" Bennett Obituary

Robert “Bob” John Bennett, 85, of Mountain passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Green Bay Health Services.

Bob was born on July 25, 1938 in Green Bay to the late Harold and Irma (Graf) Bennett. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. Bob served his country in the Army National Guard, 32nd Red Arrow Division. On July 11, 1964 he married Judith Cichocki. She preceded him in death in June 2002. Over the years, Bob and Judy owned and operated ADDS (Advertising Design and Direction Service).

Bob was a member of Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lakewood, WI. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and had a love for animals, the outdoors, taking care of the wildlife in his yard, and cherished time spent with his family.

Bob is survived by his children: Lisa (Pat) McFarlane, Brian “Dirtball” (fiancé Theresa) Bennett, and Lori (fiancé Richard) Bennett; son-in-law: Dan (Nancy) Van Straten; grandchildren: Brianna Bennett, Joseph Van Straten, and Alex Van Straten; great-grandchildren: Julynn and Kamaria; sisters: Pat (Bubb) Lidke and Jeanne (Mike) Karcz; nephews: Ben “Wilmer” (Sonya) Lidke, and Adam Karcz; great niece and nephew: Cecilia and August; and his sweetie: Janice Tetzlaff and the entire Tetzlaff family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Irma Bennett; wife: Judy; daughter: Lynn Van Straten; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arthur and Dorothy Cichocki.  

A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., with Rev. Tony De los Santos officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.  Inurnment will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and caregivers at Green Bay Health Services and Unity Hospice for all the care and compassion given to Bob and his family.
