Robert "Bob" Tahlier Obituary

Robert “Bob” Richard Tahlier, 74, of Green Bay passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Patient Pines.

Bob was born on September 1, 1950 in Green Bay to Harold and Lucille (Albers) Tahlier. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. Bob served his country in the United States Navy. On October 8, 1976 he married Deborah Ryczkowski. Bob worked for over 35 years at Paper Converting Machine Company as a Service Representative and Machinist.

Bob was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, and enjoyed tinkering, building things and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s events. Bob was a social butterfly; he loved to visit with the neighbors, and he was generous to a fault. He would do anything for anyone.

Bob is survived by his wife: Debbie; three children: Anthony (Andrea) Tahlier, Brian Tahlier, and Carolyn (Andy) Dutil; grandchildren: August, Avett, Arlen, Sebastian, Harry, Eden, Norah, and Emily; three sisters: Jean (Joe) Krietzer, Joan (Bernard) Borlee, and Joyce Tahlier; and four sisters-in-law: Kathleen (Andrew) Vanden Busch, Eileen (Steve) Swanson, Denise (Andy) Clark, and Roberta (Todd) Hengel. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Lucille Tahlier; two brothers: Richard Tahlier and James Tahlier; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Henry and Rose Ryczkowski.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th Street, with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Military honors will take place immediately following the service at church. Bob will be laid to rest at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
