Robert “Bob” James Tilot, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Woodside Manor surrounded by his family.
Bob was born on October 1, 1934 in Green Bay to Charles and Anna (Gillis) Tilot. He was a graduate of Green Bay Catholic Central High School. Bob served his country in the United States Army. On May 19, 1962, he married the former Darleen Shurtz. Bob worked in the warehouse for Red Owl for 36 years, following his retirement, he worked for Paulson Hardware. Bob enjoyed playing cards, especially Sheephead, doing odd jobs, fishing, boating and loved spending all of his free time at their cottage in Little Sturgeon.
Bob is survived by his wife: Darleen; four children: Robin (Roger) Berth and their children: Kyle and Ashley, Daniel Tilot and his children: Alexis and Dylan, Dave (Jennifer) Tilot, and Tracy Tilot; one sister: Arletta LaHue; and three sisters-in-law: Bonnie (Tom) Coopmans, Armella Tilot, and Irene Tilot. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Anna Tilot; parents-in-law: LaVerne and Dallas Shurtz; sister and brothers: Verna (Owen) Saidon, Vernon (Betty) Tilot, Richard Tilot, Donald Tilot Sr., Charles (Geraldine) Tilot; and brother-in-law: Lee LaHue.
A private family memorial service has taken place.
