Rodger Ralph Doemel

Rodger R. Doemel, 86, passed to God on June 13, 2023. Rodger was born on September 12, 1936 to Carl and Lydia (Fifield) Doemel in Gillett, WI. He worked for Green Bay Packaging as a supervisor for 45 years and retired in 1998. He also served in the Army Reserves for 8 years.

Rodger was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cecil where he served as a trustee. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride his UTV. Rodger also liked to visit with his friends at the Gun Shop in Shawano.

Rodger is survived by his loving wife of 66 years: Janice; two children: Bill (Nan) Doemel and Rick (Amy) Doemel; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; sisters: Jessie Buys, Joan (Jim) Wolfe, and Cheryl Martin; and one brother: Tim (Mary) Doemel. He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Rodger is preceded in death by his daughter: Michelle Ann; his parents: Carl and Lydia Doemel; his brother: Alwin Doemel; his sister: Cora Barribeau; his daughter-in-law: Jerrine Doemel; his parents-in-law: Louis and Laura LeFevre; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Per Rodger’s wishes no services will be held.
