Ronald Lee Campbell, 75, passed away at home Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Ron was born on July 13, 1945 to Donald and Gertrude (Boettcher) Campbell in Green Bay, WI. Ron graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1963 and soon after joined the US Navy. Ron met and married the love of his life Mary Roeser on July 3, 1971. They had two beautiful children – Shera and Robert (Bob). Upon returning to Green Bay, he worked at Shade Information Systems for many years.
In his early years you would find him enjoying nature through hunting, fishing, camping, golfing – all of which would include family and/or close friends. As the years went on, he continued his enjoyment in camping and got not only himself and Mary a place at Captain’s Cove, but also encouraged Shera and Bob to as well. For many years you would have found them all three making memories that will be forever cherished. Most recently enjoyment came in the form of time with family, long drives typically ending at a Liquidator where he would purchase items that brought him or others joy.
Ron is survived by his daughter Shera (Todd) Piontek, his sisters; Donna (Dave) Kroll and Judy (the late Michael) Eisch, as well as his grandchildren; Robert “R.J.”, Laythan, Leticia, Brynn, Peyton and Kadin.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his son Bob, his ex-daughter-in law Samantha Campbell - Weier, his brother-in law Michael Eisch as well as many other friends and family.
There will be a Memorial Service for Ron this Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, a prayer service at 2pm with Pastor James Carlson presiding at Lyndahl Funeral Home (1350 Lombardi Avenue) with Military Honors to follow.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ronald's name.
